Alright I am at a loss.  My four year old female cat has decided to start peeing in the hallway instead of her litterbox.  I clean the box regularly so I am sure that is not it.  Any suggestions?

Has something changed in her life, a new child, additional pet, just recently moved? Cats show they are stressed by not using their litter box. They also do this when they are sick.

My S-i-L had a cat that decided the bathroom rug was the new litter box, she tried everything to curb that behavior. A friend told her to get a new litterbox and change the type of litter. She even moved the location temporarily. That did the trick. After two weeks, the litter box went back to it's original location and there hasn't been a problem since.

Even changes as simple as moving furnature can stress them. Also try a very LARGE box to urinate in. Try using a tub from walmart, sometimes having alot of room to go helps them. If all else fails talk to a vet.

Just get rid of the cat and get a turtle.

Are you ready for some football?

My experience with that behavior is a urinary tract infection. Hope this helps.

I know this is late but many cats do this when they have crystals in thier urine. A vet check would help.
