Any good guitar teachers out there? And how does one judge if a guitar teacher is good or not? Anyway, my 13 year old would like to learn. Guess he has stars in his eyes! But I told him that if he wants to learn, and if I am paying for it, he will learn acoustic FIRST. Any recommendations??

For fear of getting in trouble with the TOS, feel free to pm me and I know where you can get lessons at a pretty good rate. A good guitar teacher is going to teach chords and technique first, guitar hero music after they have the basics down.  Cheers!

The city offers guitar classes through PRL. If you get a copy of the Activator or download it online it has all the info. Maybe try that and see how he likes it!
