I decided on Ray Mar for my wedding in November. I have heard great things about him, and he seems really nice/easy to to work with so far.

thanks everyone. our DJ moved 2 weeks ago after we had already paid him for the wedding and now we can not locate him...........ugh

I am so sorry to hear that. We used Music Man, the guy's name we used was Rankin.
Wonderful guy, and reasonable. we had a lot of compliments on the diverse music he played and how he catered to the crowd. We also gave us a cost break if we paid him cash. He has a website too.
Try callling the BBB on this other guy and see if they can help you with getting your money back.

try ortchile (that is his screen name) I know he is a DJ not sure if he does weddings but I do know he just did the father daughter dance and is going to do the fourth of July BBQ event.

Tooth Fairy, My husband and I used Chuck Wetzel with MegaSound 602-371-1642. He is by far the best DJ I have ever seen and hired. We used him for our wedding back in 2003. He is the reason why our wedding ran so smoothly. He organized all of the events that day, like the cake cutting, 1st dance, wedding march, absolutely everything. He is very reliable, experienced and wants your event to go just as smoothly as you do. He was worth every penny and then some. He gets booked really fast so call him asap. He will also let you know where you can go check out his work personally before you hire him. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hope this helps.
