on the public mailboxes UNLESS you intend to remove them immediately after the meeting. They looked trashy when they went up and they look absolutely CRAPTACULAR now. The Sign Boards for the meetings at all entrances should be sufficient.

Thank You

Alan F.

If you wish to decide what does and does not get posted on the mailboxes, please run for HOA board, or get hired by Ogden. In the mean time, I will remove them as soon as I can get a break from my 6 consecutive 16 hour days at work, that I get PAID for. Then I'll get back to my VOLUNTEER position.

In the mean time, fell free to remove the fliers when you get you mail.

Alanf, You know EXACTLY who put those fliers up. You know where to find me if you need me. Cut the petty BS on the forum, and tell me if you have an issue.

When everyone picks their mail up today after work, can you all remove the HOA meeting request fliers on the maiilboxes - please? I know Graham took a lot of time to get the A-frames for our last HOA meeting and took a lot of time going to every mailbox in the community to promote the meeting. I will drive around today after work and grab all the ones that I see, but everyone's help would be appreciated and I know Graham would appreciate it. Thanks to Graham for posting them and thanks to everyone who helps bring them down.

I was at the meeting Graham when you said you'd take care of it. I'm just saying don't put the crap up if you can't take it back down in a timely fashion.

Oh, and by the way. I took the ones down off my mailbox the day you put them up. One was already flopping around. Will you go around and repaint all the boxes after the adhesive becomes permanent?

And finally, you ran for the position and were elected. I'm not really concerned how many hours or days you work...just Senita. If you can't remain professional about it......

And don't get me wrong Graham. I appreciate the hard work that at least 2 of you have put into the HOA board. If you need help to succeed, just ask us....

actually, I liked the fact that the sign was on the mail box.  If mine is still up I'll be more than happy to take it down after I check my mail tonight.

Alan, did you know that if you rearrange the letters in your name it spells anal.

Comeon....somebody has to stick up for Graham.  Guy puts in a lot of hard work.  Last thing we need is nit pickers.  Let's worry about the large issues.

Graham, at the close of the meeting make a brief announcement asking people to pull down the signs when they see them.......problem solved.

Later guys.

So chevyguy, it didn't bother you looking at the sign for 7 days after the meeting was over? You probably didn't even notice it was still there because it's not your job to worry about it, right? You needed somebody to ask you to take it down. That's the kind of attitude that most people take. Don't worry about the little crap. But if you let enough little leaks go unattended the damned boat sinks doen't it.
It's fine though. I will continue maintaining my mail box. Anything that goes up comes down the same day. I will also continue to raise the BS flag.

And please stop analyzing my name chevyguy, that's kind of creepy. And yes, it is my name.

alan, I'm not going to argue about this. It's kinda trivial. I do agree the signs need to come down. However I (me, myself, and I) believe that they prove to be beneficial in announcing the HOA meeting. From this point forward, now that I know our hard working board member would like some assistance, I will gladly pull down the sign on my mailbox AFTER the meeting.

This is me signing off on this topic. I refuse to drag topics like these through the mud. It's not worth it. I have better things to do. That's one of many reasons I hardly post on this site anymore.

I find it interesting how many people are ready and willing to point out problems. How about solutions? Later.

They should go door-to-door and rubber band the rolled up papers to the door knob.  This will elminate the destruction of the mail boxes and having to pick up the extras.

I gave a solution. Don't tape crap on the mailboxes. The mailers along with the signs that were supposed to be acquired long ago should suffice at the entrances. 95% of the people don't care enough about their community to show up anyway. 4 of the other 5% care, but are "TOO BUSY". I'm done here also.
