Well said, downfall.  As a retired lawman, I believe the people responsible for manufacturing and promoting the global warming crisis lies are criminals and should be prosecuted.  However, the problem with prosecuting criminal cases where victims number in the millions is that the perpetrators themselves can easily claim they had no criminal intent, that they too were duped like everyone else.

Mainstream media has aided and abetted in the global warming fraud by refusing to report both sides of this issue.  There are over 3,000 climatology scientists worldwide who maintain that global warming and cooling periods are natural events that have been occurring for thousands of years.  These scientists also state that humanity and greenhouse gasses have had little, if any, effect on these climate cycles.  Pretty boring stuff, but it is the other side of the story and we deserve to hear it.  

The folks running the major networks make sure we only hear the most negative or most sensational side side of every story.  I recently read that when a mainstream media reporter was questioned as to why he never reported anything about all the good things that are happening in Iraq, he pointed to a building across the street and replied " We'd only do a report on that building if it was on fire.  Otherwise it isn't news".           

The manufactured Global Warming crisis is just the latest attempt at manufacturing a crisis to justify "mobilization" of society to meet this threat. This is the type of stuff that the progressive/new deal fascist of the 20th century used to justify all types of oppressive behavior. They felt they new best and saw their role as moving society forward through the centralization of power and re-interpretation of the constitution to justify what they were doing. This is were the idea of the constitution is a living document came from.

Unfortunately, You can see many of the same attitudes and actions at work right now in the Democratic Party. The liberals/progressives/new dealers/fascist have applied the label of Fascist to the Republicans, whom are classical liberals, and got away with it.  Seems that you can count on the Fascists of accusing opponents of things they are in fact guilty of.
