I know when I use to live on the other side of town I use to attend a couple different card games a week and after settleing in out here I am looking to start something back up.

I have a card table and would be willing to host a weekly game if anyone else in interested in putting something together. Drop a reply if you would be interested, I am not looking to get a huge thing going but maybe just 5-8 players for more of a friendly environment. Who knows if it does get bigger maybe we could set it up tournament style.

I have never played, but I have seen it on tv and I have plenty of money.

haha well if we do end up setting something up with some less experienced people, there is no problems with teaching a group how to play. when we use to play before we would have a group of 7-10 people and every other weeks there was a new person coming to learn and sit a round to see how they did.

watching it on TV i am sure that you have seen that sometimes there is an addrenaline rush when you have the chance to hit something big or when you get down to heads up poker  it really is an enjoyable game

usually on a casual game you play for like $5 / $10 / $20 on tournament style games (these usually take 1-2 hours)

so you are not looking at starting with a lot of money out of pocket and like I mentioned before, it is really a social environment

Well that makes 2, I will ask a couple buddies of mine that live out here and see if they would be willing to learn at well since I know they aren't players already. You only need about 5-8 people to start a good game of cards.

Do you have anyone else that you would be bringing or flying solo?

We are new to Copa and would like to spend some time with like minded folks.  Games, BBQ/Cookouts, Drinking, Socializing etc.

I'm in if it's not too late. Just moved here a couple of months ago and have been looking for a good home game of poker.

We LOVE new players.  We are really good teachers too.  Bring lots of cash, we don't take checks.
