The empty lot that is west of the church was given to the city for a future school site. I would not expect to see any school built there for at least 5 yrs.

Sorry.....I meant what elementary school includes Homestead in their boundries??

Santa Cruz will continue to include Homestead. I for one am very happy about this. As a former Kyrene SD employee, I am please with the direction of Santa Cruz and have been impressed with the faculty. The attention & instruction my boys have received has been just as wonderful here, as when we were at Monte Vista. My boys are in the 5th & 3rd grades this year.
