Did anyone catch Maricopa on World News Tonight last night? We were an example of a town ravaged by foreclosures.

I didn't see it last night. I saw it(again) this morning. Originally, I saw it over a week ago, it ab abbreviated report of one that was done before.

My answer WAS "NO" to Q#5 and Q#1.

Yes I saw it and it was a disgusting bit of news jounalism.  There are places in the US that have a higher foreclosure rate than here in Maricopa/Arizona.  But ever since they have focused on us we have been the "example" and receive the brunt of all the negative news regarding foreclosures in today's market.  Hopefully, most people will have a short memory in regards to pieces of news distortion like this latest piece.

I guess we have to look on the bright side. As Mayor Anderson said that there are inexpensive houses here.

I think that will draw growth. Short term it sucks to see home equity evaporate and be even upside down. But long term, it will be ok.

Maricopa is Home!
