Alert | This is actually a post to all of you that post about other cars that you don't like on the road. Why do you do this? Do you actually think that these people are on the forum? Do you have nowhere else to vent? Does it make you feel superior to point out poor driving? What is the point?

Alert | I have often wondered that too! Really, what is the probability that out of all of the 1000's of cars that travel through there each day, that person driving is actually going to read this!? I have to admit though that I do check to see if anyone has ever complained about me! Not yet!

i know a few people who realize that they are horrible drivers, admit to it, and fully own up to it.
of course, they dont actually do anything about it...but at least they recognize that they cant drive. | | "Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to. Alert | | Ha, ha! Totally agree peanut! I can't drive either. I try, but I'm a sterotypical soccer mom. I put on make-up, hand my son toys to keep him from screaming and drive with my knee. Not safe, I know... but that's everyday life for me.

How about accidents, road work, or other things relevant. I have only seen one person in here respond to their poor driving out of the many posts on it.

Alert | | I think it's nice to be able to read what kind of road ettiquette is wanted/expected so that people can read it and catch on. By complaining about people's poor judgement while driving, maybe others will be able to see that they do those things too and that the other drivers around them NOTICE and don't appreciate it. (That's giving people a lot of credit though. If you're not smart enough to know the rules then you're probably not smart enough to notice your mistakes enough to change them.) | | Despite All My Rage I Am Still Just A Rat In A Cage

Alert | | This is true, but it does remind me. The other day when I was driving home on 51rst Ave/Riggs Road. When all of the cars pulled over to the side of the road to let the ambulance pass, except one guy who though this was a good oportunity to pass said cars. That guy pissed me off. I am glad it wasn't my mother or someone who was waiting for that ambulance. Im sorry that it got in the way of that guy's speeding.

Alert | Back to the point... To the guy in the silver VW (or Audi), thanks for almost causing an accident at 70+ miles an hour and for about getting your rear-end taken off at the stop light (that we both reached at the same time). It looked like a fairly new vehicle - hard to believe it didn't come with the blinker option. You did confirm, as does vw.com, that cars these days are not sold with judgement included on the sticker. -t
