For the life of me, I cannot begin to understand how anyone can leave a child in a hot vehicle.  I have left my purse, or bottle of water in the car, I have left the mail, or my cell phone in the car, but how do you leave a child in the car?!  or even a pet for that matter.  This has no excuse that will make me feel sorry for the ignorant, careless, thoughtless, stupid person that does this.  Don't give me the lame excuse: Accidents Happen  Granny ain't buying it! 

This has got to be the worst possible tragedy there is, because it has no excuse to attach to it.

Please! let there be no more this summer!  One is always too many!!!

I've always wondered that myself...how does someone "forget" their child/pet is in the car.  I hear more and more cases of that happening where infants, toddlers, or pets are killed because of that.  I have both...kids and a dog, and I cry when I hear those incidents on the news.  I cry for those poor babies that had to die such a horrible death.  My heart goes out to all of them...and one way I help is to look in each car I pass after I park at the store to make sure no one is inside with the car off...you never know.
