Just curious if anyone knows if this is okay to do. I have a Koi pond and we are moving, so I have to get rid of the fish. The koi are huge, along with some goldfish. My question is; am I aloud to dump them in Pacana Pond, or the Province?

I have a customer that has a Koi pond...maybe they'll take them...

I just emailed them to see if they are interested in taking them for you..

I'll let you know what they say...

Hashisaki san, konnichi wa. Irrishai Maricopa.

I don't know if you're allowed to put fish in the Pacana park pond. You could call Maricopa Parks and Recreation and they would let you know. I wouldn't recommend doing it though since people do fish in the pond (catch and release).

I do have a Koi pond but it's small. I can take the goldfish without a problem. How big are the Koi? How many of them? If my pond can accomodate them, I would be glad to give them a home.

Stupid should hurt!

Hashisaki...please do not put your Koi or goldfish into a park pond...they will most likely die. If you go to www.Phoenixkoirescue.com you can make arrangements for them to come and get your fish and find them happy, healthy homes at not charge to you. They will usually accomplish this in less than 2 weeks. Also alot of times there are ordinances against adding fish to established lakes in parks and neighborhoods, but I don't know about Pacana Park or Province. They go to all parts of the Valley, so I am quite sure they will come to Maricopa as well.
