He deserves 25 years for creating either one of those bands. Creating both AND being a crook on top of it...life.

Funny how he gets 25 years but those Enron guys got far less time and defrauded far more people.

Yeah, funny how things work out, if you're connected in DC.

Skilling got 24.5 years. I don't think 6 months is that much less time. Still though, these to cases don't even compare in terms of $$.

Better yet are the Savings and Loan scandals. Keating got 12 years and the US taxpayer got a bill for $124 billion... And now one of the Keating Five members is running for the office of POTUS.

In a recent TV interview ,the lead investigator ( a life long Dem who is still active in Dem campaigns) for the Senate committee investigating the Keating Five affair  stated that he told the Democrats who ran the investigation that McCain should not be included in the investigation as he had done nothing criminal. He was told by the Dems who ran the Committee that if McCain was dropped from the investigation,  the remaining four under investigation would all be Democrats, and that that was unacceptable.

I love how EVERYTHING gets turned into politics.
This IS NOT the politics section.
