I don't think most of us are concerned about skin color anymore and I regret that my ancestors were, but there is nothing I can do to undo it. 

The thing that troubles me about Obama is that he still is concerned with skin color.  If you are thinking about voting for Obama should he win the nomination, you should first read his book, Dreams of my father.

If they're already thinking about voting for him, they don't need to read it.

The ones that need to read it are the ones that believe he is an anti american commie. So let's convince the majority on how wrong it is to vote for McCain.

He's a politician and as such he is whatever he has to be to get the votes of whatever crowd he is pandering to at the time. When he is in black areas he emphasizes his African roots. When he is talking to a white crowd he talks a lot about his white mother and grandmother. When talking to working class people he tries to pass himself off as a child of the working class. In fund raisers with wealthy liberals (when the press is excluded) he sneers at the working class. He is a typical politician, those who try to paint him as something else are deluding themselves.
