anyone have any inside info on this development? any clue when construction will start, and what businesses will be there? There is a temporary fence around it, and if my memory serves correctly it wasn't there a few weeks ago....

You are correct- the dirt has been turned and the fence is new. No idea as to what is going in there though.

I'm wondering if they are under contract with any businesses or if they are using the build then fill technique. I was hoping someone had some inside knowledge. I believe that is the location for the library as well. It is posted that there is a meeting about changes to the plan for the UTAZ development scheduled for 6/3 @ 5:30pm, but it was already 6:30 when i was reading the note. Did anyone make it? Utaz also has the development posted on their website as well. http://utaz.com/locations/maricopa_grand/# So has the library taken over the entire development, or will utaz just reduce the size of their plans?

the utaz place is for sure the library. It will be a small part of the complex. I attended the ground breaking ceremony and saw the artwork and even got fliers. will be exciting to see the final product.

not that I heard. I kinda got the impression that they would be offices such as insurance agents and book keepers as opposed to things the public would frequently use.

The article says Smith Enke and Desert Greens, but that is basically the same thing as Smith Enke just west of Porter Road.
