Hey, all the cool kids are doing it, right?

I know that Tom Foley of Foleyge Landscape witll be there.  As well as Tim from H&N (I think he's coming).

I know landscape maintenance will be a LONG discussion.

I know we are voting on the wall on MartyLynn.

I know I want to address the current trash/recycle program.

And I know it's gonna be a hoot and a hollar.  Well, at least, a hollar

I don't recall how to add an item to the agenda, so I'll start here.

I would like to propose turning off and removing the sprinklers that flood the southwest corner of Senita.  The "plants" should be replaced with landscaping rocks.

It is a ridiculous waste of water and an eyesore.  The water pools at the bottom in a muddy mess.  (Mosquito breeding ground?) The plants are mostly weeds and not maintained.

If there is no money for the installation of the rocks, cut the water off and purchase them when the savings reach the needed amount.

also what about the orbitel contract with the HOA and providing Basic cable. how do we get out of that to save the non-orbitel subscribers some $$.

Wifi, You're killing me! In a friendly way, that makes me smile. You are asking all the questions that were covered last month...How do we collect fines, how do we get out of Orbitel

I am with you. Even though I am an Orbitel subscriber, I don't like that it's written into the HOA contract (Please, anyone else, let's not rehash the issue of "read it before you sign it", move to Casa Grande, get satelite TV...we've discussed that to death in other forums). Point is, I asked for that to be looked into. We are locked into Orbitel until 2010, or 2011. Which isn't really that far off. We need a 66% yes vote to bail on the contract. If I am still a board member in 2011 I will once again look into ending a mandated cable contract.

And when you come to the meeting, look for the skinny tattoed guy up front. Come introduce yourself. I love meeting forum people in person!!

my apologies. i did not read the last months minutes, must have skipped over the post about it. I read the forums regulary and again must have skipped over the final verdict in the discussions when reading. I'll shut my trap about it till 2010/2011 when the contract renews and we have a chance to vote again. BTW i have orbitel too for cable.
