It would appear that there is more than enough to carry it through a dry spell, if there indeed is one. Where did you hear this rumor? Here is where I got my info on revenue:

I'm not in on the info one way or another. I am a frequent user of the site. My word of caution to anyone looking from the outside in to any business is not to look solely at revenue. This is a gross number. It doesn't reflect expenses and debt. | |

Hmmm... I shall start. I, for one, love my home. I don't care what others say, Maricopa is a cool place to live. I got a lot of house for the money, and as long as businesses continue to grow, we will have more as consumers to buy closer to home, although most of us drive through Chandler, etc., commuting daily anyway. Let's support ALL local business, and ALL avenues for helping them get out news and advertising. The mood here is whatever we choose to make it, one post at a time. I choose not to whine about others whining ... I am simply pointing out that we can all say something uplifting from time to time, too.

In todays world you need a think skin everywhere you go. As for 85239 I have been using this site for over a year now I sure hope it doesn't fall to the Maricopa high rent wrath..... Seem so many good people have come and gone with it. I heard it was somewhere around $10 per sq ft a month in this town how can anything survive.....??? | |

That is baseless. What people say about the site is impacted far less than how a business treats their customers. In this case are they providing their advertisers with a good return on their investment. If they are and follow a good business model they will succeed. If they don't take care of their advertisers they will start to lose money and fail. Very simple.
As far as a being a news source Maricopa has at least 3 other viable sources. This site has been lagging as of late on hot subjects. | | | |
