You can also call the City's Fire Department as they will do an inspection of your child seat installation in your car. Please call ahead for an appointment, as they have only so many certified inspectors, so they are not always on shift. They will look at the seats you have, and ensure they are correctly in the car, and they can give you more information on the child's weight, size, etc., as it relates to the seat you are using.

i was told maricopa fire dept doesn't do carseat installations any longer. hopefully, this is not true. does anyone know?
