First find a few icons that you like. Photobucket is used by a lot of people but Yahoo works too. Save them to your computer. To get the icons up, go here: http://www.85239.com/FORUM/tabid/60/view/editprofile/uid/299/Default.aspx
Towards the bottom of the page, it should say 'avatars'. Click on the browse button across from 'upload avatar' and select your picture. It's that simple!

It was fun trying to figure out how to put the pictures up when I first tried it all out. Took me less than five minutes though. This is a bit more complicated so I'll go through it step by step.
Find a picture you want in your signature. Make sure that it's about 120x500 at the most. Don't save it to the computer. At this point, you need to right click on the picture that you've selected and click on 'properties' (it's the last one). Go down to address and copy the URL. Now go to the link I listed for setting up your avatar. Under 'profile', find the signature box.
From here, paste the URL there and type (or copy and paste) this before: <img src=" And this after: ">
It should look like this:
<img src="http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb270/Precious-Secrets/msndollzu_1134453202.gif">
If it doesn't show the picture, you did something wrong.
