My neighbor brought me a cat that seems to be on it's last leg. She can barely hold her head up and her eyes are glazed over. I'm heading back to Payson in a few hours, so if anyone can help please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks.

my neighbor is missing a black cat - she is 11 years old and all black. no collar/no micorchip.
we live in CF - could this be her? From what she told me she is a very fragile cat and a bit timid. Her name is Louise (they call her Weezy)...pm me if you think it may be her.

That was very sad! I don't want to read anymore sad news on this. Lie to us if you have to, but please don't report a sad ending!

Thank you all for helping me find my Louise...we rushed her to the hospital yesterday but today there was no change, no improvement. The doctor believes she was already in the early stages of kidney disease and after being out in the heat her severe dehydration was too much for her. The doctor said we could do more tests but she didn't think Louise would live through it - she was very sick. It was decided the best thing for Weezy was to stop her suffering which we did this afternoon. I had 11 wonderful years with this sweet angel of a kitty so I'm grateful for that. Thank you again and I'm very grateful to my neighbor Mom2boys for her help and glad she informed me about this website. And thank you pkat for taking in Louise and helping her until I could get to her.

Oh Jeannette, I am so sorry. I was praying she would be ok. I am then at least thankful you have peace of mind in finding her and seeing her before you had to let her go. Weezy will forever be in your heart!!!

Thank you again pkat, if you had not taken Louise in I would not have had the chance to comfort her and be with her at the end of her life. The hard thing for me though is that I live just around the corner on Gibson and I walked past your house at least 4 times Tuesday night looking for her...she was right there and I didn't find her. The doctor said it wouldn't have made a difference though, she was already sick, but I can't help but wonder what if...

I took this photo yesterday while saying goodbye to her...her eyes weren't open but she reacted to noises so I know she could hear me talking to her.

I appreciate the comments and words of support, it is nice to know there are others who understand the special bond and love you have with a pet and the pain you feel when losing one.
