**No I don't work here/ own it/ have a financial interest** I wanted to give a positive shout out to Way 2 Play Cafe in Chandler. My sister-in-law and her 4 year old son took me and my 3 year old daughter to Way 2 Play Cafe yesterday. It's on Riggs and McQueen I am very germaphobic, and something like this would normally scare me BUT I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place. I was very comfortable being/playing there. And my nephew and my daughter had a great time! We played for about 3 hours, had lunch and the kids were passed out before I even turned out of the parking lot. The price was right for a safe, indoor place to play for kids. The food prices weren't outrageous like some places I've been. Also, you just open a tab when you get there, and then pay once when you leave. So if you end up getting drinks or snacks or lunch or something, you don't have to swipe your card a bunch of times. They have free wi-fi and comfy places to sit for mom and dad, with full view of the kiddies playing. I ordered a latte from their cafe and it was awesome. Lunch was yummy too. They have an "adult' menu and a "kid" menu, so I didn't have to have chicken nuggets for lunch. We got there just before 10am, and it was kinda slow, and by the time we left a little after 1pm, there were more kids. But not so full that the kids weren't having fun or that I couldn't keep track of my own kid. I for sure plan on going back. especially when the weather is a bit warm to play outside. Go check it out! |
