As long as you're not talking mountain biking in the Copa there is tons of mountain biking!! He won't get bored, that's for sure.

Nah, I pedal up hill, but I would prefer a helicopter ride to the top...

South Mountain Park in Phoenix is going to be his best bet for mountain biking near Maricopa. There are miles and miles of all types of trails there. Tucson has some really nice areas to ride too. Another popular place is McDowell Mountain Park in Fountain Hills. He will have to drive to get anywhere worth riding. He can contact me when he comes into town and I could connect him with mountain bikers of all different skill levels and with all different riding schedules.
