Havent been there in over 10 years and Im thinking of chillin out for a few days in July down there.  Any suggestions on resorts ect...?  Is July pretty brutal there?

July will be very hot during the day but not too bad at night depending on the breeze and how close you are to the water.

We usually stay at one of the resorts on Sandy Beach. Las Palmas usually- every room has ocean view- full kitchen- they have a salt water pool and bar too.

If you haven't been in 10 years you are going to be shocked!!!

Las Palmas is very nice I stayed there last summer when I went down. We were on probably the 10th floor and it had a great view!! The bar in the pool is always a nice option :-)

Penasco del Sol is a great hotel too. Pool is great, rooms are nice, and the staff very accomodating.

would NOT recommend coming back just after a holiday like July 4...expect a 5 hour delay getting across the border.

Very humid in July and hotter than Phoenix.
