Maybe it's time that we all contact Fry's and ask them to install a cart system that locks the shopping cart wheels when it reaches the shopping center boundries. The grocery stores in Chicago had them where cart removal was a problem. Let's all shoot corporate emails to move ahead with this system.

Last night there was a woman walking with two kids into the Villages from Fry's with a cart pushing her groceries home. Of course today there's a cart sitting out in front of Oster.. Nice!

...nice and ghetto.

I sent one too. It may be easier to call the Store Manager over there directly or talk to him when you are in the store and let him know so he can send someone out to retrieve the empty carts. He probably has no idea they are missing that many carts because all he seems to do over there is run the check out because they never have enough cashiers scheduled.

They are who we thought they were!

While on the subject of abandoned carts... Has anyone noticed the shopping cart that is full of garbage and 3 other trashbags out on the corner of JWP and Smith Enke by the VRED sign? It looks like a homeless person has set up shop there. Who can we contact in the city to get this cleaned up?

Funny, cause the other night, Thursday night, I saw three teenagers (1 boy and 2 girls) and the boy was pushing the two girls who crammed themselves into the cart into the Villages. They looked to be about 16yrs old and it just irritated the heck out of me, cause I know the shopping cart will end up in one of the fields!

I am pretty sure that the store manager will get the communication. Anything that is written or called in will trickle down with c.c.'s to district managers and managers themselves.

Any response to this? I still see the carts all the time.

I would have snapped a picture with my cell and posted it here, so their wonderful parents could see it.

They have to be pretty determined to get the carts into the villages now with that access road graded down to dirt now....
