Check out our sign...it's still not up!  It was vandalized a while ago and it looks like it'll just stay down....thanks HOA!!

Considering this is such an ongoing issue..why not  stencil and paint the letters on..game over..for the vandals..

sorry to pop your bubble garden glow, but a can of paint and a roller takes the sign away again. Even spray paint. I think they need to talk to the other communities with signs still on and ask how they do it.

We would be more than happy to have you come out and help to re-install the sign.  DH is only one person and things have come up not including him spending two weeks with the flu that is going around.

Everyone seems to have good reasons to not be available but when he isn't available we get bashed.   We've had one volunteer to help and he's another board member.  We've had one person state that they would help but they have to work.  That's it out of 415 remaining homeowners.

To help keep the costs down and due to the lack of funds, the cost to put the sign back up for the THIRD  time is coming out of our pockets.

Send me a PM with your name and phone number and we'll give you a call to meet up this weekend to get it put back up.

Twostep...I agree with gardenglow..if it gets torn down again we should look at just painting it on. I think that the Villages finally went this route after having thier sign torn down multipal times.

Might I suggest some flood lights, security cameras and razor wire?

I saw it as well today...the sign and new plants look great..hopefully those pointy ends of the agaves will help deter the culprits..not too much fun being poked by one....

Does the sign have lighting in the evening? If not, would it take much to install a couple flood lights for added security?

I just returned from being out of town for a week and it was nice being greeted by the sign.  I'll do my best to look out for any suspicious activity.  Thanks!

Put the sign back up and sting the culprits. You know it's the same idiots time and again.
