Did anyone else see the photo radar on I-10 under the Wild Horse Pass bridge today? Anyone knows that I-10 on that segment at rush hour is 0-30 MPH only. They could have been catching speeders on 347...oh wait, no they couldn't. Traffic was backed up by two cars cruising in both lanes between 50-60 MPH.

I wanna know who to whine to about the stupid 202 last night. I was driving home from work at 11:30pm and they decide to close the ramp from 202 westbound to the I10 eastbound. No signs. Just closed. It really pissed me off. I'm tired.

Speaking of those Photo Trucks, does anybody know how long it takes to get a ticket after they take a Photo?

I think I got one last Thursday going home when they had that Photo Truck between the I-10 and the Wild Horse Pass.  I saw the warning signs and the Truck, so I set my cruise control to what I thought the speed limit was (65mph) but I learned the speed limit there is really 55mph.

If you were only going 65, then you should only get Waste of Finite Resources (65 or less in a 55 outside of a major city) which is around 50 or 60 and not reported to the insurance company. If you get one and if you respond to it. Supposedly many don't respond and that's all that they hear from it.

Wow I never heard of that before.  Thanks for the info.

Hopefully the photo truck and my vehicle were both calibrated the same so I don't get a ticket saying I was clocked going 66!

Close Jason.  65 or less, in a 55, INSIDE of a major city (population of fifty thousand or more persons).  Last I knew, and it may have gone up, it was only a $25 fine.

Nice thing about waste of finite resource tickets:

No points, no reporting to MVD, license cant' be suspended for it.

Basically just a slap on the wrist for using more gas than you needed to.
