Had a young man who I beleive lived in Alterra near me pull my weeds about 2 months ago. I think my wife got his name from here!

Yard isnt too bad yet, but that ground clear crap doesn't seem to work.

PM me if interested in pulling for a reasonable price

i bought round up when i had weed issues...since ive switched to a product called spectracide...its half the price and works just as well if not better.....just point and spray....wears your hand out but its satisfying to see results begin to take effect in just 2 or 3 hours

If you use Roundup, it has to be on warm days.  The main ingredient requires weeds to be actively growing to work best.  If applied on cool days, early in the morning, or late in the afternoon on those 'borderline' days, it won't work well.

According to one of those garden guys on the radio, Roundup is best spring-fall, and spectracide is best in cooler weather.

I started applying RoundUp in January this year when weeds just started popping, but only on sunny/warm days, and it has killed everything I've hit.  Been hitting the weeds every 2 weeks or so, and that has kept things in-check.

And a side note on weeds - soil temps are almost warm enough now for summer weeds to start to germinate. Now is a good time to apply a pre-emergent to keep you from having another round of weeds in 4-8 weeks.

This is A GREAT IDEA!  I am doing this Saturday.  I have no weeds now, but want to keep it up.. don't want no letters.

Call A2Z Landscape.  I have had a good experience with them.  They're gentlemen, speak english, and their rates are reasonable compared to other Maricopa landscapers.  I found that out the hard way.  Someone just gave me the number for them 480-252-6534  Hope that helps...  I saw their weed ad in the Maricopa coupon paper....
