Has anyone heard if Parvo has been a problem in the last month or so?

I would maybe call around to the local vets and even some that aren't local but are close. Parvo is something you DO NOT want your family pet to get. It is a very nasty disease that eats them away from the inside out. Not to mention, it is EXTREMELY expensive to treat.

The other bad thing, if you bought a house that was previously owned and the previous owners dog had parvo...if they didn't bleach their backyard, the disease is still alive back there.

I haven't heard of any going around, but I would definitely make some phone calls.

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Parvo is in Maricopa!!! Our puppy died (and about 35 more) in Nov. 2007, the virus seemed to quiet down because it was cold. I would think the virus is alive and kicking again with the 80 and 90 degree weather, be very careful. I see puppies playing down at the park and pray they will live through the week. Puppies need to be 4 months old and have all their shots before they go to any of the parks in the Meadows, our puppy got sick from our front yard.
