Alert | If I go to sonic, I ALWAYS check the bag before I get home because not ONCE have they gotten a complete order correct. And it isn't like I am a difficult customer ordering impossible things, just simple stuff like leaving the kids cheeseburgers plain!
BTW RobertB, your avatar scares the crap out of me!!!

Alert | | I have learned most the places here fast food wise I HAVE to check the order before I leave the parking lot. I can gicve credit to taco bell and KFC they have always been apologetic, not only corrected my order but usually given something on top of it without even me asking remotely. | | Jody

Alert | | I find it truly sad that these places are losing business because they can't ge the orders straight. Maybe the kids don't understand the abreviations the register sends them, more training needed? Or maybe they should have an expeditor check each order before it's wraped to be given to the customer. I'm sure anyone would be happy to wait an extra few seconds to make sure they got the correct food.

Alert | | The same thing happened to me the other night. I told the guy 2 or 3 times excately what my daughter wanted on her cheeseburger, then he repeated it back correctly but still the food came out wrong. So I got back in the drive thru line, 'cause my kids were barefoot and they were not very appologetic at all. It is sad because I've had about enough of getting the wrong order. It seems to happen every time. So long SONIC!!

Alert | | We've been there several times. Haven't gotten the order right ONCE. It's aweful. They couldn't even get our ice cream right. Not hard when they were all the same thing .... apparently too hard for them though.

Alert | | I have had lil problems with them. They forgot to put cherry flavoring in my root beer, jalapeño on a burger when I requested it, the ice cream that make girls were suppose to have when they didn't have any toys....I thought they would worked out all the kinks by now. I'll go to the one in Tempe next time I want my order right. | | Post count: 2273 Joined: Sun April 02, 2006 9:41 PM Learn from your mistakes...cause the truth will come out sooner or later...

Alert | | I love Sonic! Granted, they usually forget to put the cherry in my diet cherry limeade. Gripe! But I think I would (*presses hand to brow in Scarlett O'Hara-esque expression of dramatic woe*) perish if I couldn't have tater tots! If there were no Sonic in the 'Copa, I'd have to start stashing them in my pocket, Napoleon Dynamite" style, every time I ran into Phoenix or Casa Grande. | | <---Look, Ma! Alert | We had lunch there Friday...the order was correct and the staff came around 2x's with the condiments...the manager also was going around and asking if everthing was alright etc...he was very pleasant and seemed sincerely interested in the patrons inside the restaurant...it seems to me they're trying...
I know it can be fustrating when places don't get your order correct..especially when you have little ones...but the same complaints I read here are the same ones I had back east....and frankly as long as there are fast-food restaurants I'm sure there will be wrong orders.... | | ANYONE HOME? Alert | Went to Sonic yesterday to treat my daughter for finishing her first day of kindergarten at Legacy. Drive thru...order taker was polite, courteous, and my order was right. Was it a fluke?
Went there again today and again everything was great. Hmmmmm....maybe the best time to go is around 3pm?

Alert | | I went the day the op posted and my order was made correctly. It is fast food and these people don't get paid enough to care. On the other side of the coin you would think with so few jobs in town that they could fire any slackers. I think the problem sits with crappy people managing these local establishments. Hmmm sounds a lot like our city government too don't you think?

You get free stuff? I don't get free stuff! How hard is it to not put lettuce and tomatoes on something? JUST THE MEAT AND THE CHEESE..... when you say that repeatedly, you would think that this would sink into the person on the other side of the speaker. I just sit in the damn window and check now before I even pull away. If it's wrong it goes right back in the window!
Same with Jack in the Box! Seriously - could go there 5 times and one time the order will be completely accurate. I understand that they are not paid well and that it's a crap job. We've all had crap jobs before, freaking deal with it and atleast take a little pride in what you do! If that's not your lifes ambition to work fast food...then do something about it, like the rest of us did!!! | | Who's using me, what should we do? Alert | <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/sad.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Sad' align='absmiddle'> So here's the thing... you can't really blame the company. If they knew what was going on, they would do something about it. Has anyone gone to a manager? In the bigger picture, the problem is that kids aren't taught how to work. When we were kids, we worked. We worked HARD. Everyone thinks they are doing their kids a favor by waiting on them hand and foot because they don't want their kids to dislike them. If any of these kids had a work ethic, they would take pride in doing their jobs, WHATEVER THE JOB MAY BE, and do their best. At the very least, they would be able to follow simple directions. Blame the company. Blame the wages. It ALL starts with the parents at home. At the end of the day, and unfortunately at the ends of our days, these kids will be in control of this country. It's an epidemic. That is certainly more frightening than getting one less order of fries with that. | | Yes, that's really my name

Alert | | I stopped at the drive-thru 8:30am and got a breakfast combo. The young man at the window was very polite and my order was perfect. He very well could be a candidate for office some day. As for the few deadbeats who manage to get hired for a while, I doubt they will have enough ambition to run for any office, although they will be able to vote if they can get themself to the polls!
