It isn't fraud, because he honestly believes what he said in his little movie.  He's just stupid.

Baseless lawsuit, poor analogy.  Meteorology is not only a recognized science (as opposed to Human-Influenced-Climatology), but it is based on proven scientific principle, not hypotheized political opinion. 

The relationship between air pressure, moisture, and temperature has been not only widely known and documented for ages, but has been proven as well.  Couple that with satellite evidence of these previously-mentioned factors, and a reasonably probable (though not unfailingly accurate) forecast can be made. 

Contrast that with politically-based rhetoric which substitutes mere theory with factual evidence and we have the difference between weather forcasting and Al Gore's movie. 

My God this sounds just like the WMD search in Iraq. I am going to sue George Bush for fraud with this war. How much you want to bet I have better odds than this suit against Gore? Oh wait, nobody wants to take that bet?

I will take that bet...because you'd be suing the wrong person.  No matter how many times you try and make this inference, or how loud you shout it, you cannot make it true.  You'd have to sue former President Bill Clinton for furthering the same information during the last portion of his first term and the entirety of his second term, during which time he was ordering the active engagement of Iraqi ground targets within the Operation Northern Watch and Operation Southern Watch areas.  And, shortly thereafter, he used the exact same excuse to launch Operation Desert Fox.  And, shortly thereafter, he passed the same intelligence forward to his replacement in the Oval Office, who used it in a similar fashion. 

Good luck with that suit.
